Kwerner Color Inspiration #43

How fun are these colors! I love bold an bright. The colors look so yummy I just want to eat them up! I think this might lead to more than one card! Anyways here is the first one, I got the great idea to use the Polka Dot Punch set as background from Julie. Thanks for the inspiration Julie.





I am sitting here with a bunch of windows thrown open enjoying the lovely spring weather and the fact that I don't have to be at work today. Make getting stuff like the laundry done a lot harder when the weather is so nice.

No cards yet

Sorry no new card yet, I have one all cut and designed but when I went to get my runner adhesive out I realized it was all gone and I had no spare. A trip to the craft store has fixed that so hopefully I will get that finished and posted today.



I did get a lovely birthday card from my DH though, bless him it stresses him out to go and buy me a card because he knows what a big deal cards are for me! He did good though!

More Cards for the Christmas Box

Another sketch another Christmas card. I tweaked Amy's Sketch a little because well I had a brain fart and forgot to put part of my card on! Oh well sometimes mistakes turn out the best.

Karen is truly talented and when I found out she was doing weekly sketches I could wait to try one out. I am running a little behind as this is her sixth sketch, better late than never.

I realized that I had fallen behind on making a few Christmas cards a month and it is only February so I thought I better get a jump on it. Hope you enjoy!

Mojo Monday 74

So it looks like doing the sketches has helped my mojo come back. The ideas for the cards are coming easier and the fun is coming back. I made this one for a friend who has moved to Australia for a few months to do some traveling. I am so excited and hope it goes well for her.

Had some more fun with all the DS paper I got in the paper share last week! My mojo seems to have gone down the toilet and I am hoping that working on all the sketches will have it come back.

KWerner Color Inspiration #48

I have not played along with Kritina's color inspirations for a while and I have really missed it. Have I mentioned before that I LOVE the Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set from SU. These are not colours I would normally use, but I enjoyed the challenge. When I saw Kristina's video about making the circle card I knew my DH young cousin who turns 11 this year would have a fun time with it.

The most drawn out project in the world

I started this project a few weeks ago for my SIL but due to how busy I was and the glue drying time I never seemed to get very far with it. I finally finished it ove the weekend and will be sad to see it go but I hope my SIL will like it.

Another fun sketch from Amy. I love how fun her cards and sketches are. Here is my go at it, I follow the blog of a woman who have moved to Thailand to teach English for a year and I thought I would send her a card. I wanted it to be bright and fun and I think I have achived it. Loved playing with all my designer papers from SU.

I'm in heaven

I'm in heaven I signed up for a SU paper and ribbon share a few weeks ago and then purchased all this fun Sassafrass Lass stuff to to a Mother's Day album for my MIL (Mothers day is the first Sunday of March in the UK) It all showed up yesterday and today and I can't stop looking at it. I am so excited I can hardly sit still. I have chosen all the photo's for my MIL album this afternoon and stuck them all on a memory stick so I can run tomorrow morning and have them printed. Then let the crafting begin! I think I am going to have some fun making some cards with my SU paper this evening.

Mojo Monday 72

Stop the press Yank has actually made a card! My mojo seemed to have been flushed down the toilet and I had all but given up hope of getting it back. So when I made my self sit down and make a card today I thought what better way to get in the swing of things than using the Mojo Monday sketch. Hopefully this is the first of many to follow!
